My Khe Beach: a gem right on the doorstep

An Thuong lies at the southern end of My Khe beach, so from Furama Dining House the sea is walking distance. Soft white sand, clear water and a long straight shoreline have earned My Khe a place on several international lists.

• A wide, open public beach looking out to the Son Tra Peninsula and Cu Lao Cham islands beyond.

Good to know

• Public beach, free entry; lifeguards on duty roughly 5:00–20:00.
• Sun lounger with umbrella about 40,000–100,000 VND/day; freshwater rinse 5,000–10,000 VND.
• Best in the dry season (Feb–Aug); each day, aim for sunrise or 15:30–18:30 for softer light.
• Swim within the flagged zone and follow the lifeguards; in the rainy season (Oct–Dec) watch the warning flags.

In 2024 TripAdvisor ranked My Khe #6 among the Top 10 beaches in Asia; visitors praise the clean sand, clear water and the sunrise-and-sunset scenery.

After an afternoon swim, Furama Dining House is a few minutes' walk away. Four floors, four restaurants — an evening right beside the beach you just left.
