Outside, trains pass by.

This image made us think deeply about the meaning of the two words "to return."

Because a train station is where people leave, but it is also where they come back.

Amidst life's constant movement, a home remains.

And Mother still waits.

Perhaps that's why a meal in "the home by the railway" is not just a Thai meal. It evokes a very familiar feeling for anyone who has traveled far:

After every journey, one always hopes for a place to return to.

There's a Ban Khun Mae by the river

Thai Siam Kitchen at Indochina Riverside has a different rhythm of life.

It's an old house by the river.

There's no rush of a train station. Instead, there's a sense of tranquility, openness, and a touch of nostalgia.

We don't want these objects to be mere "decor."

They should make diners feel that this house was once lived in.

And in the kitchen, a mother once prepared dinner for her loved ones.

When a space achieves that feeling, architecture is no longer just for looking at.

It begins to have memories.

We don't want to replicate a restaurant

This was not an easy choice for Thai Siam Kitchen.

For a restaurant chain, the most convenient way is to build a perfect prototype, then bring that color, that chair, that lamp, that painting, and that layout to every location.

Customers stepping into any branch would immediately recognize the brand.

Thai Siam Kitchen chose a slightly more difficult path.

We retain the soul, but do not copy the house.

The architecture and interior design of each Thai Siam Kitchen are meticulously cared for by the investor. Different designers are invited to tell different stories.

Because what we want to create is not a Thai-themed restaurant.

We want to create a place with Thai life.

And to do that, the founders and brand developers must spend time observing, learning, and experiencing Thai life, lifestyle, culture, and cuisine.

Not just asking:

"What do Thais eat?"

But also asking:

"Where do they eat? How do they live? How does a family gather? What does a kitchen preserve? And what makes a house a Home?"

That's the difficult part.

Different homes, same dining table

Although the architecture of each Thai Siam Kitchen is different, there is one thing that must not change.

That is the spirit of the Ban Khun Mae dining table.

The food must be meticulously prepared.

The welcome must be sincere.

The space must be warm enough for a family to want to sit together.

And diners must feel that they are not just using a table in a restaurant, but are invited to sit down at a dining table in a home.

A Tom Yum Goong might appear in the home by the train station.

Som Tam might be placed on the table by the river.

A Samrap platter might be shared in the room full of books.

The scenery changes.

But the meal remains what connects people.

One day, Thai Siam Kitchen may have many more homes.

Or a kitchen where Mother still pounds Som Tam right in front of her children waiting for dinner.

We want that each time a new Thai Siam Kitchen opens, customers don't ask:

"Is the new branch like the old one?"

But will be curious:

"This time, what story will Mother's Home tell?"

Then, the journey of experiencing Thai Siam Kitchen also becomes a journey through many different homes, regions, and facets of Thai life.

One Brand. Many Thai Homes. One Heart.

Ultimately, what we want to build may not be restaurants

Some evenings, after a long day, people don't need another bustling place.

They just want to find a familiar corner.

A comfortable chair.

Light that is just warm enough.

A dish they love.

And their loved ones sitting across the table.

At that moment, a restaurant is no longer a place we go to "consume a meal."

It becomes a small sanctuary amidst life.

Thai Siam Kitchen hopes that Ban Khun Mae can gradually become such a place.

A place where young people can come after work.

A homesick Thai person can find a familiar taste.
