Golden Bridge & Ba Na Hills: a day in the clouds, an evening at home
About an hour's drive from An Thuong, the giant stone hands lifting the Golden Bridge above the Truong Son range are Da Nang's most famous photo stop. Here's the day-trip playbook — and why to save dinner for Furama Dining House.
Ba Na Hills sits roughly 35–40 km from the An Thuong area, about a 45–60 minute drive to the cable-car station. From there a 5.7 km cable-car line carries you over old-growth forest to the summit, where the air runs nearly 10 °C cooler than the coast — a perfect escape from the Da Nang heat.

- Take the earliest cable car to photograph the bridge before the crowds — about 9:00 is the busiest.
- Bring a light jacket: the summit is cool and often misty; on cloudy days the bridge disappears into fog.
